Compensation for the company’s senior executives is reviewed annually by the Management Resources and Compensation Committee. Directors’ compensation is reviewed annually by the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Share/Share equivalent ownership

Directors are required to own a combination of Emera common shares and Deferred Share Units with a market value of three times the annual Board retainer.
